A Message From Our Pastor
Praise be to God! We have been blessed with a new year.

While it is true I pray you every blessing in the year to come, we are not going talk about resolutions. When we’re honest with ourselves and God, we don’t keep them.

But this year as a church community we will renew our Wesley Covenant. John Wesley inspired the service of covenant renewal at the beginning the year to strengthen our sense of devotion and commitment to our Lord first and foremost. But also, to renew our commitment to the community that has been formed because of the common faith in Jesus Christ.

As a community, I invite you to share in the studying book by Magrey R. deVega ‘One Faithful Promise.’ The book will offer a process for us to journey together in examining our hearts. And making ourselves ready for the covenant renewal service scheduled  February 3rd. There are copies available at the church. Just ask. The book is also available in digital format on both Amazon ’Kindle’ and Barnes and Noble ‘Nook’ devices.

Come join us! The prayer guides will reflect the questions in the book and specially chosen scripture readings scripture to ponder.

Many New Year’s Blessings to you all!

Rev. Jackson was raised, educated and has served in the New England area for over 20 years. She has a wide range of interests including arts and crafts and reading.  She is an avid lover of history, science fiction and people of all ages, especially children.

A church musician and piano teacher most of her life, Beverly believes that God continues to speak to us through music.  Listening, singing, playing, dancing, God's grace and love renew the spirit in powerful ways. Beverly and her husband, Rev. Dr. Charlie Hartman reside in Seekonk, MA.
Called to share the many gifts and talents she has been blessed with, Joan wears many hats. Running the Thrift Store, preaching, playing guitar and singing, and serving as a Trustee of Haven are but a few of the ways she serves locally. In addition, Joan is a Certified Lay Servant and delegate for the New England Annual Conference, and serves as Chair of the Connectional Table, which is the oversight entity for the Conference. As she has been blessed, Joan seeks to be a source of blessing to all of God's children.
Jim is a long-time dedicated member of Haven. After playing on the basketball team in his youth, he took over as the coach. He is now in his 54th year coaching.Although Jim is humble and unassuming, former players tell of the amazing man he is and of the influence he has had on their lives.
